COINCALCU: Codename for a platform to calculate digital assets for performance and real time tracking purposes.
Account: Account is referred as an account in any wallet, exchange or any other forms which has basic data associated.
Portfolio: Logical organization of one or more accounts for reporting and data viewing purposes.
BMV: Beginning Market Value is a term, which refers to position beginning value at market opening.
EMV: Ending market value, it is the position value accessed and stored at closing financial market
FMV: Fair market value, it is the position value accessed and stored usually as average of highest and lowest of an asset of a day.
Inception Reporting: is a term that is used to generate the report from the very first day user made a transaction.
AsofDate: is another term used to show visual data from a data to as of date (today or the day data was recompiled).
Unrealized gain: is a potential profit that exists on paper, resulting from an investment. It is an increase in the value of an asset that has yet to be sold for cash
Realized gain: when an investment is sold for a higher price than it was purchased. Realized gains are often subject to capital gains tax
Costbasis: is the original value of an asset for tax purposes, usually the purchase price, adjusted for stock splits, dividends, and return of capital distributions. This value is used to determine the capital gain, which is equal to the difference between the asset’s cost basis and the current market value.
